You should definitely update this list with all of the newly mentioned equipment and include a bestiary and whatever the plant life equivalent to that is!! Describe and catalog the various wildlife encounters as Arun embraces his destiny.
Maybe you could create this section as some sort of quasi Wiki deal where your fans could help you update this section? Write about what they found with descriptions and such that you could approve and add onto before publishing?
Tim . I was wondering if you had Polish friends as one of the characters in Human Legion is called Marchewka means carrot in Polish. Maybe it was meant as a subtle joke. I have been reading sci-fi for 60 years now and that is virtually all I read . I enjoyed the series. Regards George (Jurek)
Hi George. Thanks for getting in touch and I’m delighted you liked the series. I certainly did have Polish friends when I was first writing Human Legion (from my old job). There’s a big Polish community in my town. I worked with many Indians too. So there are little bits of Polish and Hindi and also Persian scattered around, often deliberately a little mangled by time in ways that amused my friends. Hopefully there’s nothing too rude! But Marchewka as carrot? I didn’t know that one. Marchewka was a name JR Handley came up with. JR, was that a reference to Marchewka’s fur or something?
I knew it was from a Polish word list, I didn’t know it meant carrot! 🙂
