Two new stories from me

Life Imitating Art. *My* Art.
October 16, 2022I’ve just posted some fun and not quite so fun news over on my personal blog.
I don’t wish to be overly dramatic about this, but in light of my increasing neurological problems, I’m no longer confident about how much time I have left to write novels at the level I know I can deliver. It could be many years, I hasten to point out. But it might be a lot less.
Consequently, I have reprioritized my writing projects. If I have to stop writing novels, I don’t want to leave any book series unfinished.
I’ve just completed a good draft of Time Dogz#2. I had intended to get that to a trilogy before attempting to interest publishers.
Instead, I’m going to park Time Dogz for now and finish off Chimera Company for Theogony Books. That currently looks like two fairly short novels and then we’re done. If sales pick up then I have endless ideas for sequels, prequels, and side stories.
Then there’s ‘The Siege of Colchester’, a prequel to my story in Standing Fast on Foreign Shores.
Already written is ‘You’re FRAKKed!’, the sequel to ‘FRAKKers’ in We Dare: Wanted, Dead or Alive.
Those will be my last short stories until I’ve finished my novels. Next of which will be either (depending on how well I feel) Bloodfeeder, the final Revenge Squad novel or Time Dogz#3.

By the way, if some of these anthologies are new to you, then I’ve been been busy! By the end of the year, I expect to have had stories in eight anthologies over 18 months. I’ve just updated my anthologies listings with trivia and all sorts of good stuff over at the anthologies page of this site.
