When Strontium Dog met a racing Jag E-Type
November 1, 2022You might remember Frakkers!, a story I wrote earlier in the year about a mutant bounty hunter (Karnage Zax) and his cyborg sidekick, (Itka Jowiszka) . Came out in a bounty hunter anthology called We Dare: Wanted Dead or Alive.

I enjoyed the story so much that I wrote a follow-up that swapped things around, so the cyborg takes the lead and the mutant is her sidekick.
You’re Frakked! is in a cyborg-themed anthology called Deadly Enchantments that was published yesterday.
This is my first cyberpunk story, and look at the cover it’s in! I think it’s magnificent.

You’re Frakked! in the new anthology follows on directly from FRAkkers! in the ‘We Dare’ anthology. For maximum thrill power, read FRAkkers! first. Both anthologies are in Kindle Unlimited, so if you have a KU subscription, you can read the whole lot for free.
You can find the earlier anthology here: https://www.amazon.com/We-Dare-Wanted-Dead-Alive-ebook/dp/B09ZH6PWZS
This is my last publication of 2022.
I’ve had a lot of anthology releases recently, but that’s slowed down now. There’s one more anthology due out next year that I should have a story in. It’s called The Siege of Colchester and it’s a prequel to my Last Brigade story, The Sussex Job. Mind you, I haven’t actually written it yet.
So there will be no new novels from me in 2022, which is the first blank for a decade. There will probably be around a 2-year gap between novel releases since my last in June 2021. That is the knock-on effect of multiple sclerosis.
It’s not that I’m not writing, but I’m having to learn how to live with my condition while still being effective. Plus, I’m banking novels because I’ve reprioritized. I have first drafts of two Time Dogz novels in the bank because I switched to completing the Chimera Company and Revenge Squad series while I still can.
