Human Legion box sets are all available now

Greetings from Human Legion Lockdown HQ Being briefly in between projects, and temporarily not fit enough to write new stories (I think I had the Corona-bug – I was certainly in self-isolation for a couple of weeks), I finished off the second and final Human Legion boxed set, which several people had been bugging me to finish off. My orcs rise from the ashes of a post-apoc anthology

In case you missed it, my latest anthology came out last week in From the Ashes, the latest anthology from Bayonet Books. The theme for this anthology is the post-apocalypse and my story features orcs, humans and Chinese vampire deer in the ruins of Bedfordshire. I haven’t read all the other tales yet, but I read Walt Robillard’s story and its full-on action that also features orcs and humans. But the orcs in Walt’s case are three meters tall and wield sharpened road signs as axes. Nice. (Walt’s the voice talent on the Human Empire audio, BTW, which is very close to completion now). The first of two Human Legion box sets has just been released. I’m going to add as many of the short stories, novelettes, articles and author notes as I can*, which is why I added the ‘deluxe’ label. I hope you feel it’s justified! It’s a cool image of a slipcase box, but regrettably, that’s just the publishing fashion and this is only available as a Kindle book. A new issue of Chimera Company: Deep Cover comes out every Tuesday, and this week’s cover star is Gliesan starship mechanic, Catkins. We’ve encountered the alien glider race in many of the Human Legion and Revenge Squad novels, but this is the first time we’ve had a member of the gliding race featured in Vincent Sammy’s artwork.
